Throughout the Bible God’s heart for the least is displayed time and time again. Jesus met with the afflicted, outcasts, and disregarded members of society. Even in the Old Testament we see how much He cares for the least through His law.
Being aware of God’s heart for injustice, we want to bring healing and radical hope to the poor, lowly and afflicted of today. As they are met and tended to by God, we want to be there alongside them loving and seeing them grow in their true identity. We also want to see justice and care directed at the root of problems, not just the fruit of them. Practically this could be through basic medical care, water sanitation, good hygiene practices, or reaching out to trafficked persons. We want to do what we can in bringing all aspects of healing and hope into the lives of the least. This track could lead you into some of the areas of the world people do not typically go. This could be anywhere from the slums to the refugee camps, or red light districts.
If your heart is burning for those groaning in the rejected areas of society, this track could be for you. Will you choose to see the ones not seen?
